Veggie loaded Meatballs

Great for the whole family!

Serve as is or add to a sauce. See recipe below!

I love serving meatballs baby led weaning (BLW) style. These meatballs are loaded with iron, fat, and vitamin C. Here’s how to serve:

6-8 months serve a BIG meatball or mash on a scoop able food like mashed potatoes, hummus, guacamole etc.

9m+ now you can start crumbling or cutting into pea-sized amount. Make sure they are nice and juicy or add extra sauce or broth to it.

Ingredients:

1 lb.  ground beef

1/2 cup of grated carrots

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

2 tbsp milk

1/4 cup minced onion

1 tsp Italian seasonings

1 tsp sea salt

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and form into balls about the size of a golf ball.

Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the meatballs have cooked through.
