French Toast

I don't know about you but I feel like French toast is so underrated. It is..

  • so good (of course)

  • filled with protein

  • you can make it sweet or savory

  • freezes well

  • good for 6 months+

  • and it’s relatively fast to make

Here’s our go-to recipe

4 slice of preferred bread

2 eggs

1/4 cup of whole milk (or nondairy)

1 tsp of pure vanilla extract

dash of cinnamon

How to make:

Whisk eggs along with milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in large bowl. Drench bread on both sides in mixture and place on hot greased skillet. Cook each side for a couple minutes until light golden brown and flip. Remove from the pan and continue process until bread is finished.

How to serve:

Six months- nine months: Serve in two finger length strips.

Nine months +: Serve in bite sized pieces

12 months + : Serve in bite sized pieces or little triangles.

How to store:

French toast freezes well in an airtight container for six months or fridge for 2-3 days.

Enjoy!
